Primary Care Survey on Liver Disease in Canada

Dear Primary Care Physician;

We invite you, as a respected physician, to lend your valuable insights to a brief research study. Your expertise is crucial in helping us gather data on real-world practices. 

This study is being conducted by Dr. Sahar Saeed, a researcher at Queen’s University in the Department of Public Health Sciences, along with other researchers and primary care providers. 

The research is funded by the Fatty Liver Alliance, a non-profit patient advocacy group and endorsed by the Canadian NASH Network and the Canadian Association for the Study of the Liver.

Your perspectives are invaluable to us. If you agree to participate, you will be asked to complete a 5-minute survey to gather data on the screening and diagnosis practices related to fatty liver disease among primary care physicians across Canada. 

Your participation is completely voluntary and will be anonymous. Your responses will be kept confidential. Your time and input are highly appreciated and will be used to understand the barriers and facilitators of liver fibrosis screening. 

This study received ethical approval by Queen’s University Health Sciences and Affiliated Teaching Hospitals Research Ethics.
